Fernando Aldaz has booked several Co-Star roles on television. Most recently for AMERICAN CRIME STORY on Fox and WB’s, JANE THE VIRGIN. He also recently played ‘Scott’ in the SAG feature POCKET LISTING, starring Rob Lowe and was in the TV movie JODI ARIAS: DIRTY LITTLE SECRET, on Lifetime. Aldaz also starred in a 35mm short sponsored by ‘Canal +’, MATADOR ON THE ROAD, starring alongside the famous Spanish actor Juan Diego. MATADOR ON THE ROAD was one of five finalists for best short of the year at ‘HBO’s 2011 New York International Latino Film Festival’. Aldaz also starred in and produced the two-man play KATAKI that won three awards at the 32nd Annual LAWEEKLY Theatre Awards.
Aldaz has studied at the ‘Circle in the Square’ on Broadway and ‘Stella Adler Academy’ in LA. He received his Bachelor’s Degree in film making with Highest Honors at the University of Texas at Austin. Aldaz is completely fluent in Spanish, being born in Buenos Aires, Argentina. While his US roots come from being raised in Austin, Texas. Aldaz is also a HUGE fan of soccer! He was the Head Clinician for the University of Texas Men’s Soccer Summer Camp for Kids for several years and a Clinician for the camp for another two years. He was also a select soccer coach for U-12 and U-13 boys teams. He is absolutely thrilled and honored to be part of The Playground family, where he has the opportunity work side by side with so many wonderfully gifted students/artists!
