Candice M. Clasby holds her MFA in Television, Film, and Theatre Production and Directing from CSU, Los Angeles. She also received her B.A. in Theatre Arts with an emphasis in Directing from CSU, Fullerton and has been working as a performer, director, choreographer, producer, and teacher in both Los Angeles and Orange Counties for the last 13 years. She is a graduate of The Orange County School of the Arts, where her educational emphasis was in Musical Theatre and Directing. Currently a member of Hollywood based theatrical production company, Consuming The Arts: Theatre Project, L.A. based film production companies, Uphill Entertainment and Awesome Women Making Movies. Directing Credits Include: Bus Stop,The Good, Something Like Loneliness (CSULA), Water Under the Bridge (Hollywood Fringe), Scrooge, All Shook Up (Buena Park Youth Theatre), Almost, Maine, Beyond Convention, and Playwrights Bake-Off (The Hunger Artists’ Theatre Company), Beckett’s Come and Go (CSU,Fullerton). Choreography Credits Include: Bless Cricket, Crest Toothpaste, and Tommy Tune (CSULA), Once on this Island, Hairspray, Mikado, and Oliver (RVLS.C.O.R.E -theatrical charity company for Spinal Cord Rehabilitation), RENT and Godspell (South Bay Center for the Arts at El Camino College). Seussical, and Cabaret at (CSU,Fullerton). Her most recent performing credits include: Chris Isaacson Presents a Broadway Christmas (Vocalist), RENT (Maureen) and HAIR (Dionne/Ronnie) at CSULA, Smokey Joe’s Cafe (Patty) at NTAC, Cabaret (Sally Bowles) at The Hunger Artists Theatre Company, Great American Trailer Park Musical (Lin) at Stages Theatre Orange County, A Chorus Line (Bebe) at The Gem. She continues to work On-camera and Theatrically as a director, producer and performer.
