Brian Stevens has been a teacher at the Playground for over 3 haunted houses in Studio 3! While not teaching at the Playground, Brian can be found teaching at OCSA, Laguna Playhouse, Stage Time LA, directing shows at the JCC in Orange County as well as heading up a new film program at Acting Academy for Kids in San Juan Capistrano.
In addition to being a teacher and acting coach, Brian is a professional stage actor and acting teacher based in Los Angeles. Brian has worked on stage in regional theatres such as the American Conservatory Theatre, Theatreworks, Berkley Rep, and is a proud member of Actors’ Equity. Some notable performances were in the West Coast Premiere of “Spinning Into Butter” by Rebecca Gillman, “the Miser” a collaboration between Berkley Rep and Theatre de le June Lune; as well as “A Christmas Carol” as well as “the Imaginary Invalid” both at the American Conservatory Theatre in San Francisco. Brian has received a B.F.A. from Santa Clara University, and an M.F.A. from the American Conservatory in San Francisco, and trains currently at The Groundlings in L.A. and The John Rosenfeld Studios in West Hollywood.
